Description
This course gives an overview on Digital Audio Systems, including Algorithms for Audio Processing, DSP Architectures for the Future of Audio, Digital Audio Peripherals, and Bridging the Gap Between Digital and Analog. It covers history, market trends, and audio standards. Then moves into algorithms for compression, decompression, filtering, and audio effects. The second module covers AV receiver systems, floating point math, block processing, and reference framework software. Module 3 covers analog to digital conversion, A/D components, power amplification, and discussion on available TI DSP demos.
Objective
The viewer of this course should come away with a good understanding of the design challenge issues of Digital Audio and how TI DSPs, Analog components, and software help the designer achieve their performance requirements
