Description
This course provides an overview of the IQmath coding methodology on the TMS320C28x DSP. It gives a technical comparison with the floating-point approach, and gives motivation for the IQmath technique. An actual example of an IQmath application is provided, including the conversion technique from existing floating-point code, and an examination of the efficiency of the IQmath approach. This course is appropriate for software engineers and engineering managers who are considering using the IQmath approach on their DSP project.
