1.1 Audio ADC input capacitor choices

Description

December 20, 2021

In this video, we will explore the common types of capacitors that can be used in an analog circuit before a signal is captured and converted to digital. We will investigate MLCC (Class I and II), electrolytic (aluminum and tantalum) and film capacitors. We will give a basic overview of the structure of each type, then discuss relative pricing, performance, and the required extra compensation for each.
