Automotive Multi-Switch Detection Interface (MSDI) reference design

The automotive multi-switch detection interface (MSDI) reference design was created as a BoosterPack for the MSP430G2 LaunchPad and, for the purposes of this demonstration, is interfaced with an I2C LCD screen to give real time user feedback of the status of the inputs.  The video shows example implementations of how to handle a wide variety of inputs including analog inputs, hall sensor switch inputs, multi-position switch inputs like rocker switches, light control arms and wiper control arms, and matrix configuration switch inputs. Lastly, it shows how the wetting currents for the device can also be used to do low current LED backlighting for switches and buttons.
