Battery management fundamentals - introduction to battery management

This series starts by taking a look at the common types of rechargeable batteries that are used in various applications. Second, we’ll look at how battery monitors (also known as “fuel gauges”) operate. Then, we’ll look at the ways you can implement Lithium-Ion battery charge circuits. We will also discuss some of the special issues for large battery pack designs for applications such as power tools or other high power systems, and finally we will take a brief look at the new emerging technology for wireless power transfer.
