This is the fifth video in the C2000 ePWM video series, which covers type 4 ePWMs. This video details the trip-zone submodule found within the ePWM module. The trip-zone submodule forces the ePWM outputs to certain states in the event of fault conditions (trips). There are 2 kinds of trips that the trip-zone is capable of producing: one-shot trip and cycle-by-cycle trip. A few examples of relevant calculations will be provided to further develop understanding.
