Check out this high voltage traction inverter that's able to drive a 60kW commercially available motor with a 400-12V DCDC converter being controlled by a single C2000 device. This provides many advantages including: the integration of HV Traction Inverter and DCDC can help OEMs save on size and mechanical cost, the motor being driven by Fast Current Loop algorithm on C2000 to increase battery life and reduce motor size, and C2000 PWM high switching frequencies at >500kHz to drive SiC and GaN wide bandgap FETs to increase power density.
