Gate Drive Considerations for Low Frequency and DC Operation

Half bridge power trains and gate drive solutions are widely used in low frequency applications such as motor drive and a variety of other applications such as induction heaters. This training session will cover the half bridge drive design concerns specific to operating at low switching frequencies. Design guidance for bootstrap floating bias and solutions to allow for high side DC drive is covered.
