Generating bipolar voltage rails

Description

May 4, 2018

Many analog systems require a negative voltage rail and the most common application is in powering an op amp. There are multiple ways to generate this negative rail, and this training will dive into two of them:

  1. Polarity-inverting buck-boost (IBB) using a standard buck converter
  2. Fly-buck or Fly-buck/boost
