How to Interface the LM35 Analog Temperature Sensor with Arduino

説明

2017年 10月 31日

The LM35 series are precision integrated-circuit temperature devices with an output voltage linearly proportional to the Centigrade temperature. The devices have a gain of +10mV/oC and a typical accuracy of 0.75oC from -55oC to 150oC making them suitable for many applications including power supplies, battery management, HVAC, and appliances.

In this tutorial, we will first look at the LM35 in general, including its accuracy, capabilities, and pinout. Then, we will discuss how to properly configure the ADC on the Arduino in order to minimize the amount of error it introduces into our temperature reading.  We will look at a quick demonstration of the LM35 being read by an Arduino Uno and go step-by-step through the code so that you can reproduce these results with the LM35 on your own.
