Send a pattern file to the AFE77xx TX
[DING] [WHOOSH] In an earlier video, I showed you how to sound a two-tone signal from the AFE77xx transmitter using HSDC Pro. But let's say you want to send a custom pattern through the transmitter such as an LTE signal or a chirp. To do this, follow along with the How to Send a Tone video. Instead of generating a two-tone signal using HSDC Pro, click on the button titled Load External Pattern File. Select the .csv pattern file you wish to send. In this example, I am sending an LTE pattern file. Within the file, you see eight columns populated. Each of the four transmitters have an I and Q channel. Each I and Q channel is represented by a single column. Column A is TX1's I channel data, column B is TX1's Q channel data, column C is TX2's I data, and so on. Connect TX1 to FB1. Navigate back to the ADC tab, select AFE77XX_FB_USECASE INI file. Change the ADC data rate to 491.52 megahertz. Press OK. Select Channel Power. Press Capture to capture the LTE pattern sent from the transmitter. [DING] [WHOOSH]
