Optical time of flight systems are used in a wide variety of products including range finders, speed measurement devices, surveying equipment, robotics, drones, fiber optics, 3D mapping and automotive advanced driver assistance LiDAR systems.   This TI Design showcases the capabilities of Texas Instruments high speed amplifiers, comparators, and time-to-digital converters to demonstrate a high accuracy, low power, time-of-flight measurement system.
