NTC thermistors have been around for a long time, and have been widely used due to their cost. However, they face many challenges when used for temperature sensing that can affect the measurement precision and reliability of the device over time. TI silicon-based linear thermistors help solve these challenges at the same low cost and footprint sizes of NTCs.
