RT-Linux is gaining interest with customers who want all the advantages of Linux along with real-time performance for applications such as industrial controls, robotics, HMI, and more. TI recently added RT-Linux functionality in Processor SDK for AM57x and AM437x. This training provides information on RT-Linux performance, considerations for developing on RT-Linux compared to standard Linux, and how to understand the trade-off of system performance versus determinism. This training highlights AM572x IDK and Processor SDK Linux 2.0.2.
