3.6 Optimizing your automotive system with Jacinto™ 7 SoCs and MCU integration

Description

August 25, 2020

2020 Automotive TI Tech Day session

Today’s advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) need safety microcontrollers (MCUs) to achieve an ASIL safety rating. The requirements for automotive MCUs have increased over time, with demand for higher compute performance, larger memory sizes, complex software and increased network capacity. TI’s Jacinto 7 SoC’s integrate an ASIL-D microcontroller subsystem capable of meeting or exceeding these requirements. This presentation will highlight the benefits of TI’s SoC safety architecture and how the Jacinto 7 processor family incorporates an MCU subsystem and specifically addresses necessary automotive MCU needs.
