TI has a variety of both analog and digital sequencers and system health monitors used in a wide variety of applications. Our analog LM388X sequencers are simple to use and easy to design with, to ensure systems consisting of 3 to 9 rails are powered up and powered down in the proper order. The UCD90XXX family of PMBus / I2C addressable digital power supply sequencers are for more complex systems, and enable sequencing up to 32 rails (or more when devices are cascaded).
DC/DC Power Modules are best known for being compact, highly-integrated power supply design options. This training series examines some of the lesser-known advantages of TI power modules:
- How do Power Modules simplify power supply design?
- Inductor withstand voltage
- High temperature storage testing

The intent of this workshop is to be a place where a person with a few C skills and some microcontroller experience can familiarize themself with the Tiva TM4C123x series parts, Code Composer Studio, TivaWare for C Series and the process of programming these microcontrollers. If you lack C programming skills, there are many courses on the Internet where you can gain them ... that knowledge can form the basis for a rewarding career.
Over the last few years, the industry has been moving from mechanical to fully electronic meters. We have seen more and more functionalities such as metrology with ultrasonic technology, leak detection with audio patterns, communication with low power and long range radio being added to smart meters. These new functionalities allow utilities to deliver new services such as condition-based maintenance and remote monitoring of meters, which lead to efficient management of the network and better customer experience.
The Precision DAC Learning Center is a collection of technical content that will help guide you through the precision DAC design process. Whether you are learning the basics of digital-to-analog conversion or trying to understand how to implement a precision DAC in your system, this learning center provides a range of videos, articles, and blogs to help you along the way.
The Ethernet ecosystem is evolving with the introduction of the IEEE 802.3bt standard. Regardless if you’re an expert in PoE or just getting introduced to the technology, the below trainings provide a good starting point for understanding how TI’s portfolio of 802.3bt Powered Devices (PDs) and Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) Controllers can be used in traditional and emerging Ethernet applications.
