Overview of analog and digital sequencers

This series of design and application notes, blogs, and videos that showcase how the sequencers can be used in a number of applications.

TI has a variety of both analog and digital sequencers and system health monitors used in a wide variety of applications. Our analog LM388X sequencers are simple to use and easy to design with, to ensure systems consisting of 3 to 9 rails are powered up and powered down in the proper order. The UCD90XXX family of PMBus / I2C addressable digital power supply sequencers are for more complex systems, and enable sequencing up to 32 rails (or more when devices are cascaded). These devices allow designers to monitor various system rails, adjust timing delays during system turn on and turn off, improve system reliability, and assist in system debugging in the event of an error.
