3D time-of-flight sensors enable consumer and industrial robots to autonomously navigate while avoiding collision. This video demonstrates a simple collision avoidance algorithm on a vacuum robot, as well as a family robot equipped with a 3D time-of-flight sensor generating a map of its surrounding.
