10.2 Space Series II: Using fully differential amps for high speed signal chain interfaces

As the demand is increasing to process more data designers are challenged with interfacing one part of a high speed signal chain to another. In this webinar session we will cover how a fully differential amplifier (FDA) can help in overcoming those interface challenges.

Upon completion, you will understand how to implement:

  • Single-ended to differential interface using active balun approach for high speed ADCs
  • DAC output buffer converting differential to single-ended signal
  • Clock buffer while converting single-ended to differential
  • Desired gain configuration while optimizing FDA stability

Additionally, you will learn how to interpret various key specifications of an FDA and convert between non-RF and RF terminologies such as current/voltage noise versus noise figure & voltage gain versus power gain.
