Technology leader motivated to succeed
As a young man, I worked full time as a rice farmer in Zhejiang province. It was hard and physical labor. But I dreamed of another life. Finally, I got my opportunity. I was able to finish high school, earn advanced engineering degrees, and gain practical experience. I was motivated to succeed. Today, I lead a business for Texas Instruments that helps customers around the world improve their battery management performance. Battery life and run time are very important because many of the things we use every day, including smartphones, computers, and electrical vehicles, rely on a lot of battery power. Besides, battery power has been widely used in solar energy, healthcare patient monitoring, appliances, building automations, and many other applications. We are able to develop advanced battery management technologies because we hire the best and the brightest talent to work on our teams. Our people make TI a great place to work. And we invest in the development of our people so they can realize their full potential. Today's generation has a great opportunity to be creative, solve the problems, and make a contribution. My name is Jinrong. And I love my job.
