This video discusses different ways digital communications can be corrupted as well as methods to mitigate the problem.  Specifically, transient interference and the noise immunity of standard CMOS and Schmitt Trigger gates are covered.  Data integrity communication methods such as check sum, parity, CRC, and hamming code are introduced.  Also, q simple software method for ignoring communications errors is introduced.  Finally, the concept of errors introduced by propagation delay is covered.
