TSN System Solutions in Factory Automation Space: TI Solutions

Description

April 11, 2018

Time Sensitive Network (TSN) is an extension to the well-known IEEE820.1 Ethernet standard in use in many areas. This session focuses on Ethernet communication for Factory Automation, which mainly uses TSN in the context of industrial communication.

This presentation takes a look at how TSN systems can benefit from the Programmable Real-time Unit for Industrial Communication Subsystem (PRU-ICSS)  within TI's ARM-based Sitara embedded processors (AM335x, AM437x, and AM57x).
