1.3 Demonstration of Capacitve and Weatherproof Metal Touch Buttons

The first of the two demos showcases CapTIvate(TM) capacitive touch technology. Not only do CapTIvate microcontrollers offer the most noise immune capacitive touch technology, but they also deliver the lowest power and highest resolution. Some features of CapTIvate technology include: grip detection, multi-touch capabilities, guard channels for protection against accidental touches, integration with metal-toch keypads, and more.

The second of the two demos is Weatherproof Metal Touch Buttons with Inductive Sensing. Metal touch buttons with inductive sensing enable the possibility for solutions allow for greater performance in harsh industrial environments where users may be wearing gloves or have the risk of dirt, water, or grime getting near the sensors.
