2.4 Discontinuous conduction mode

描述

2021年 3月 26日
In this lecture, we will learn:
  • Many pulse width modulate converters can have extra states without a connected path for inductor current.
  • Discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) is easy to control but suffers from high root mean squared (RMS) currents.
  • Converters may operate in continuous and discontinuous conduction modes at different operating points.
