Today’s communication networks require certain timing characteristics, such as latency and determinism, in order to maximize throughput and the number of nodes in a network. Watch this demo to learn how our low and deterministic latency 10/100 Mbps Ethernet PHY enables you to build industrial Ethernet systems supporting protocols like EtherCat.

This demo uses the EtherCAT host and multi-protocol industrial Ethernet reference design to test the EMC immunity of the DP83826E Ethernet PHY in a PLC system. Learn about EtherCAT system requirements and recommendations that impact performance such as link loss, energy efficient Ethernet, cable length, latency, determinism and jitter.
