This on-demand training video reviews several features in TI high cell count gauges that may offer advantages in the design of industrial battery packs.  These include scaling to support high current, capacity, or voltage levels, reducing power dissipation in systems with heavily duty-cycled loads, extending battery pack life using specialized charging algorithms, and TI's End-of-Service (EOS) Determination function for rarely discharged (backup) applications.

We also review several TI battery gauge products which support high cell count configurations, including bq78350-R1, bq34z100-G1, and bq34110.
