Hello, and welcome to the Texas Instruments AFE7700 EVM evaluation board bring-up video series. Today, I want to introduce you to our new series of EVM training videos revolving around TI's Zero IF Multi-channel RF Transceiver, the AFE7700. The AFE7700 consists of four transmitter chains, four receiver chains, and two RF sampling feedback paths, all in a small 17 by 17 millimeter package. Receivers and transmitters come equipped with 3-giga sample per second IQ data converters, IQ demod and modulators, RF digital step attenuators, and many integrated digital features, such as digital IQ correction, digital IF NCOs, and a 29.5 gigabit per second JESD204 data link. This bring-up video series will help expedite the EVM bring-up process so that evaluation of the AFE7700 EVM is done efficiently. In this video series, we'll show you how to quickly set up the hardware, send signals to the transmitter, activate the AFE's IQ calibration features, and much more.
