Industry trends driving high-accuracy battery monitors for HEV/EV

The increased adoption of chemistries like LiFePO in batteries used for EV/HEV is putting more focus on the need for high-precision battery monitors. Simultaneously, semiconductor suppliers are tightening measurement accuracy requirements for battery voltage cells to monitor state-of-heath (SOH) and repurpose those measurements for battery reuse as energy storage. This session will cover why some chemistries are becoming pervasive and what this means for the BMS ASICs that monitor them.
