This session explains the representation of voltage or current waveforms in the time and frequency domain.

The fourth part of the session explains the representation of voltage or current waveforms in the time and frequency domain and also looks at the customer use case for the application of time or frequency domain analysis. The session also explains different sampling approaches like simultaneous sampling, coherent sampling, oversampling to improve system performance, criteria for analog-to-digital converter (ADC) selection and choice between successive-approximation-register (SAR) and Delta-Sigma ADCs. There is a list of our products that can be considered during the design of the AIM and finally provides an overview of focus ADCs for this session.
