Synchronous buck converters are commonly used to regulate the current in LEDs. In this Power Tips "Ask the Expert" video, Dave asks TI’s John Betten to demonstrate how to compensate the control loop in a peak current-mode controller to ensure stability when you regulate current rather than the output voltage.
