Compared to traditional PWM modulation schemes, Hybrid and High Efficiency AD (HEAD) modulation schemes dynamically maintains differential switching with several common duty cycle varieties. 

  1. Higher efficiency for longer battery lifetime
  2. Good THD+N performance
  3. Ultra-low idle power dissipation and idle noise
